How Tom Tasty Works
01 You put together your menu box
Our menu changes every week. Choose from meat and fish dishes, vegetarian and vegan meals, tasty sides, soups and healthy snacks. Or answer two quick questions and we’ll put your box together for you. Order by Friday, 11 a.m., for delivery the following Wednesday.
02 We cook fresh for you
After the order deadline, we buy exactly the ingredients needed for the coming week and so avoid food waste. They come from local farms and regional producers, mostly organic. Head chef Stefan and his team freshly pre-cook your dishes and pack them in a protective atmosphere. That way they keep for up to 7 days in the fridge – without preservatives.
03 We deliver to your door
Every Wednesday, Swiss Post delivers your menu box straight to your home – anywhere in Switzerland. Not at home? No problem: the Post leaves your parcel at your front door. The insulated box and cooling packs keep your dishes chilled until the evening. Then simply put them in the fridge, where they stay fresh for up to 7 days.
04 You pack it, we recycle
You can return the box, insulation and cooling packs to us free of charge so we can reuse them. It’s easy: close the box, stick on the return label, slip the tab into your letterbox and place the parcel underneath. The Post picks it up automatically the next day. You can dispose of the empty meal trays with your normal household waste.
05 You heat it in the pan
Add a little oil to the pan if needed and heat the dish over medium heat. Stir occasionally until everything is evenly hot, and turn the heat down if needed so nothing burns.

Remove the lid film and put the tray in the steamer. Heat the dish directly in its packaging at no more than 120 °C – the steam keeps it nice and moist. You’ll find detailed instructions on each dish.

05 You heat it in the microwave
Remove the lid film and heat the dish directly in its tray. Stir once halfway through so it heats evenly. You’ll find detailed instructions on each dish.
06 You stay flexible
With the Autopilot, your menu box continues as a flexible weekly subscription after your first order – pause or cancel any time. Every week we put together a new selection from your previous orders and remind you by email or WhatsApp to adjust it by Friday, 11 a.m. If you change nothing, we deliver our preselection; if you don’t need a box one week, skip it in your customer area.
